We are wrapping up Pickleball this week in Physical Education Class!! This is the upcoming sport! They now offer it in Radnor Township. We have played mixed doubles which means boys and girls are partners. Some feel weird at first but then get into a groove and don't really think about it after the first week. Yes, I am working on the middle school awkwardness! It is great seeing them work together! They have played really well and I have seen much improvement. Please enjoy some photos below...
The forth grade were introduced to Pickleball this year. This is a growing sport that is popping up everywhere. For the most part they are playing with boy/girl partners, which they pick. They are learning to work out of their comfort zone and communicate with each other. By seventh and eighth grade my students come to class with their partners already picked. The sooner they learn to work comfortably with everyone, the better they will be in school and the work environment later on in life. Who knew all the life skills they are learning in Physical Education Class and they don't even know it!!!! Enjoy the pictures below...
Greeting from Physical Education Class. My lower school classes are working with the Parachute. They are learning that they need to work together in order for the parachute to work the way we want it to. We are making caves, climbing mountains and there may even be a shark attack or two in class, so don't be alarmed if they come home saying they were bit by a shark! Enjoy some pictures of them in action...
